At last. My first trip to Scotland was in 2018, and I've been madly in love with this country ever since. But not only because of the incredible nature, the simplicity, the nice people and yes, also because of the food. The country had a huge impact on my photography in 2018 and was the starting signal for me to get into landscape photography. And I've learnt a lot since then, was there again in 2019 and have continued to expand my knowledge. Recently, however, I've lost myself a little. Photography had acquired a stale aftertaste due to the numerous possibilities, including in the area of editing. I am disappointed by many photographers who focus mainly on stretching mountains, replacing colours, bending trees and ultimately producing a polished image that is no longer photography. That was also a reason why it was a personal project for me to get back on track. Focus on light, composition, object and craft. And when there was light, even if it was harsh and bright, I gratefully accepted it.
